About me

FIONA GRÜNEBERG BEd (Hons), MA, AMBDA, SpLD APC (PATOSS)

Having been a primary school headteacher and SENCo in Oxfordshire, after I had my first child I decided to specialise in dyslexia, as I wanted to find out more to help those children who found literacy so hard.

I did my Postgraduate Diploma in Literacy Difficulties at Oxford Brookes University, going on to complete my Masters Degree there a few years later.

I have completed further qualifications in this field including becoming an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association and holding the Assessing Practising Certificate (Patoss).

Over the last nineteen years I have taught many children with dyslexia, both privately and within schools, which has given me further insight when assessing. I have also taught children who have found maths difficult.  This led to me wanting to find out more and specialising in Dyscalculia as well.

Outside of work I have three children (who now all work alongside me to help with tutoring) and we all enjoy ballroom and Latin dancing, as well as being involved in amateur dramatics (especially pantomimes!)
