Non-Verbal - Cubes
We thought about 4 top tips:

Move the top square down (or the bottom one up). It will face the same way.

Consider opposite sides – they will not touch.

Roll up (or down) the sides – they will rotate 90 degrees each time (so 2 apart will be a 180 degree rotation)

Always check positional features e.g. which way a triangle points / near or far etc.

Spelling
ie/ei > 'i' before 'e' except after 'c' when the sound is 'ee'.
e.g. thief
After a 'c' - e.g. receive
Not making an 'ee' sound (more often a long 'a' sound)- their, weight
